UCLA Gayley Heights Apartments

  • Overview

The UCLA Gayley Heights Apartments is a new student housing project consisting of a 17-story high-rise tower and 9-story mid-rise tower. The project is located at 10995
Le Conte Avenue on the UCLA campus. The total area of the development is approximately 300,000 square feet consisting of residential units, back of house facilities, landscaped exterior court yards, building lobbies and other support facilities.

The project will replace an existing seismically deficient office and classroom building. Glumac provided Energy Consulting Services Title 24 Compliance Modeling Design Development. Develop a Title 24 compliance model to assess the Basis of Design building against a baseline Title 24 building using the detail method (using Architectural Revit Model) in the state approved CBECC-Com energy modeling software.

These will include: HVAC system options/enhancements, Glazing selections, Window wall performance criteria, Window to wall ratio, Glazing selections, Lighting power densities and Solar hot water.
