Glumac provided MEP engineering for five high-rise buildings across this 130-acre sustainable building development on Portland’s South Waterfront EcoDistrict.
The overall mixed-use project is a sustainable urban community that includes more than 3,000 housing units, 275,000 sf of commercial and retail space, and 1.5 million sf of medical research, clinic, administrative and educational space for Oregon Health & Science University.
The project is certified under the LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) Pilot Program (Gold, Stage 2 rating) and includes the following buildings:
THE MIRABELLA
- 30-story Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) built on a former brownfield site
- First LEED Platinum CCRC in the U.S.
THE MERIWEATHER
- Two towers, including 474,000 sf of condominiums, townhouses and retail over a two-level underground parking garage
- LEED Gold-certified
THE JOHN ROSS
- 31-story condominium tower with 287-dwelling units, 13 townhouses, and below grade parking
- LEED Gold-certified
ATWATER PLACE
- 23-story condominium tower comprising 212 condos
- LEED Gold-certified
