In the heart of Union Square San Francisco, citizenM debuts its first location in California with this newly opened 13-story, 195-unit boutique hotel. Reflecting the local community, the amenities include a rooftop terrace, art wall entry, chic lobby, canteenM bar & kitchen, fitness center, meeting spaces, and retail on the ground floor.

Glumac provided LEED fundamental and enhanced Commissioning to verify the hotel’s MEP systems were fully functional and performed under the project requirements and design intent. The new MEP equipment consisted of one air-cooled chiller, two air handling units, one boiler, three domestic booster pumps, seven DX fan coil units, three exhaust fans, seven hydronic fan coil units, a lighting control system, three chilled water pumps, three heating hot water pumps, two sewage ejector pumps, two smoke exhaust fans, three supply fans, two sump pumps, three stairwell pressurization fans, & six variable air volume terminal units (VAV’s). Glumac verified that accurate Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation and training was provided to the Owner.
