SoCal Gas Operations Control Center
Pico Rivera, California, United States
The SoCalGas Operations Control Center (GOCC), located in Pico Rivera, is a new project on an existing campus. The project includes a 70,000-square-foot, two-story office building, plus a new emergency operation center for SoCalGas.
The goal of the project is to establish a state of the art GOCC Facility that integrates with the existing campus. Additionally, the project includes server rooms, SCADA room, support spaces, a loading yard/service yard and surface parking for 280 vehicles.
The state-of-the-art MEP design takes into consideration resiliency and redundancy needs while adhering to the target budget. The project’s energy will be provided with photovoltaic design day 1 and the ability to achieve net zero in the future.
