Designing the Future Today.
For 30 years Glumac has worked with the world's largest firms to design the next 30 years of technology. From modular data center and semi-conductor fab design, to secure corporate information storage and shared colocation data spaces, Glumac's advanced technology project manager, engineers, scientists, designers and planners have experience working to expedite project delivery through lean execution, while focusing on quality and ROI for our clients.
Our methodical approach to project execution coupled with integrated design team pools resources from our growing global building design partnership, the Tetra Tech High Performance Buildings Group. This affords us a true 24-hour work cycle, allowing us to deliver for clients faster, better, and cost-effective solutions.

We provide a true consultative partner approach. We are our clients' advocates and understand the need to provide value in an ultra-competitive market."

Glumac, in collaboration with our parent company Tetra Tech, is committed to helping the semiconductor and the advanced manufacturing industry to continue innovating and finding answers to the considerable challenge of producing chips in an environmentally responsible way. We are committed to developing more cost-effective and efficient solutions for the delivery of a fabrication facility for our clients.
We understand the vital need to design the right utilities to maintain continuous and sustainable operation of any plant. Our consultative approach to client’s needs and developing the right strategies to design reliable systems that optimize building performance, minimize downtime, and increase system reliability is our goal!
To help maintain air quality and purity, selecting and designing the right mechanical/HVAC equipment (make-up air handler, MUA), return air handlers (RAH), and ceiling fan filter units (FFU) along with airflow arrangements and furniture/equipment layout and material finish is critical for optimal performance of the cleanroom.

the central nervous system for a facility or campus.
When it comes to fab facilities, Central Utility Buildings (CUBs) play a critical role in the reliability and efficiency of any facility. We understand the vital need to design the right utilities to maintain continuous and sustainable operation of any plant. Whether it is substation design, power distribution scheme, boiler system, chilled water, compressed air, central steam, ultra-purified water (UPW), water/ wastewater treatment, structural systems and trestles to carry piping systems, and utility piping, requires deep knowledge and understanding of how the facility operates and how these systems are interconnected to maintain uninterrupted operation.
Whether cleanroom is ISO 4 (Class 10)or ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanrooms, semiconductor fabs follow the ISO 14644 standard. Specification for device fabrication cleanrooms vary based on process type, line width, and wafer size requirements.
Semiconductor facilities face an assortment of difficulties while planning, designing, and working in a semiconductor cleanroom. Rigorous processes and controlled conditions are vital for producing, wafers, chips and the right product.
To help maintain air quality and purity, selecting and designing the right MEP system including mechanical/HVAC equipment (make-up air handlers, MUAs), return air handlers (RAHs), and ceiling fan filter units (FFUs) along with airflow arrangements, duct system and furniture/equipment layout and material finish is critical for optimal performance of the cleanroom.
With utility costs on the rise, many manufacturing facilities are taking a closer look at their facilities and finding that better facility design, resource management and maintenance strategies can offer sources of overlooked savings, as well as opportunities for sustainability. While there are challenges, there are opportunities and the strategies that can help improve design needed and optimize operations.
