New legislation for skilled nursing facilities in California is now in effect, and all such facilities must comply by January 1, 2024
(AB) 2511 requires skilled nursing facilities have an alternative source of power to protect resident health and safety for no fewer than 96 hours for power outages that may result from a public safety power shutoff, an emergency, a natural disaster, or other cause.
Our engineers can assess your facility, review existing electrical as-built and conduct a visual inspection of existing conditions to determine compliance.
Our expert team will submit the assessment on the facility's behalf to HCAI for review and confirmation of compliance/non-compliance.
If non-compliant, we will develop compliance options for review and approval by owners/facility managers.
Our team of experienced engineers will design the selected system compliance option and obtain HCAI approval.
Our Team of experts can help you through this process, all the way from assessment to construction. We would love to hear from you to discuss your needs.
